2,100 Flags

On Saturday, May 13th the Easton Lions Club will hold its Annual Celebration of Easton & Auction.

It will be a night of presentation, community, bidding, music, fun, remembrances, food, and memories.

On Friday May 11th Easton’s Veteran Services Officer, Cory Ahonen called out to Lions and other community members to help at Washington Street Cemetery, (RIP Lion Avery Lee Williams,) the Immaculate Conception Cemetery and the Village Cemetery.  

Cory would like to thank the “outstanding Lions volunteers” who came out today to help:

2,100 flags were replaced today.  

Additional thanks to Jon Morgan and our chartered Boy Scout Troop 193 for ensuring that the flags that were replaced today receive a proper flag retirement.
