Stories from Easton businesses and organizations on how they adapted to serve and support our Easton community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Easton Lions thank all the businesses, schools, and town administration for their service to Easton.
North Easton Machine was deemed an essential manufacturer by the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and remained open throughout the COVID pandemic. North Easton Machine is a components manufacturer and they manufactured parts for ventilators. They were part of Ford’s pivot to ventilator manufacturing on their automotive manufacturing lines. They also supplied parts to robotic automation used in the production of the Moderna vaccine.
Working on these critical projects helped to buoy their staff, who came to work every day, while it seemed the world were urged to stay at home for their own safety. Throughout the two years they were open, they had very few infections and no spread of illness within their buildings due to strong COVID protocols.
The Lions thank North Easton Machine for their service to not just Easton, but of our broader community around the United States.
The Easton Lions annually recognize people and organizations that make our town special. This year we honor the community leaders in Easton, businesses, and institutions, like our schools who helped us through two-years of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Celebration gala event includes a 3-course plated dinner prepared by Stonehill College Catering Services, a cash bar, and guest presentations. Doors open at 5:30, dinner starts at 6:30, and presentations from 6:30-9:00 pm.
Dinner attendance is limited so we will broadcast the event live on local cable and stream online through Easton Community Access Television-ECAT.

The Easton Lions thank our many loyal supporters. It is through their generosity for events like the Celebration and Online Auction that enable us to support so many community organizations and the Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund (MLERF).
Some recent groups supported:
The MLERF is an annual cause that aligns with 1 of 5 Lions Clubs International global causes, to improve the lives of the visually impaired and prevent avoidable blindness.
We invite local businesses and individuals to sponsor this year’s Celebration event at any level.
