Lions Tame Trailers at Fire Station

Easton Lions Club's trainlers at the Easton Fire Station #3 on Bay Road in South Easton

by Jon Morgan

In preparation for the upcoming Holiday Festival, chairperson Michelle McGee (also our Club’s Marketing Communications Chair) rallied some elves to clean out and organize the storage trailers at Easton Fire Station #3 on Bay Road – and what a terrific job they did!

l could not imagine how many items were in there that were trash, obsolete, or in need of being repurposed/recycled/removed.  The team of Pattie Somers, Claire Abate, Lynne Payne, Cathy Ferrone, and Sophia Murphy dedicated several hours on Sunday, November 7 to take this project on.

Their efforts produced considerably more storage space in the trailer and made it so much easier to identify and access the items we use for the Golf Outing, Auction/Celebration of Easton, Holiday Festival, and all the other things we do in our community that have stuff to be stored!  When club members set-up for the Holiday Festival & Main Street Stroll in  a couple weeks, you’ll see what I mean.

A big hand of applause to them!
