Lions Support Bear

Tonight, on a beautiful July evening, Immediate Past President Andrew Parker and President Jim Abate met with the Mathers family at the Hall on Foundry to present a $500 check to honor Bear Mathers.

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of Bear’s Run which is in remembrance of Bear who was killed in 2013 in a motorcycle accident. Bear was an Oliver Ames graduate, a member of the Foxboro Fish and Game, and an active member of the Easton Knights of Columbus.

This Saturday, July 16th Bear’s Run will leave from 375 Foundry Street and hit four stops (picking up poker cards along the way) before returning to the Easton Knights of Columbus for food, raffles, prizes, live music and more! Kickstands up at 9:00am!

All are welcome for the fun!
