Auction: How to Register and Place Bids

Our online Auction is underway and is set to wrap up on Saturday, May 14, 2022.  If you want to join in the fun, all you need to do is register at Bidding for Good. 

Once registered and logged in you’ll be able to:

  • Browse all items and see current bid
  • Set-up an item watch status
  • Place your bid, including automated max bids
  • Be notified when outbid or when you WIN!

Most items will sell at 8:00 pm at our Celebration of Easton Dinner Gala at Stonehill College on May 14th.

How to Register

on Mobile Phone/Small Tablet: Choose the Register button, the icon with the pencil, at the top of the screen.

on Desktop/Laptop/Tablet: Choose Register to Bid in the top page menu.

Fill in the registration info, including a credit card for making bids.  When all is complete, select the Register button at the bottom. Make sure to fill out all information asked on the form completely including the “Terms of Use” checkbox.

How to Bid

  1. Login to your Bidding for Good account, or register if you do not yet have one. 
  2. A credit card must be on file to bid.
  3. To place a bid, first view an item that is eligible for bidding.
  4. Type in the desired amount in the bid box.
  5. Select the type of bidding you would like to use. Not sure? See Types of Bidding, Proxy Bidding vs. Straight Bidding,  for more information.
    • Straight Bids = Exactly the amount entered
    • Proxy Bids = Up to a maximum specified amount
  6. Click “Place Bid“.
  7. Click “Confirm Bid“.

You will know right away if you are in the lead, or if another bidder’s maximum (proxy) bid was still higher than yours.

If you are in the lead, you will receive an email and/or text letting you know if you’ve been outbid so you can bid again!
