We need your help in April & May

Delegates needed May 5^th

With the State Convention coming up in May 3rd-5th, I am looking for members to be delegates to the Convention. With our club size we should be able to have about 15 delegates. The cost of registration is $5.00 and you will be needed on Sunday morning, May 5th to vote for the new leadership team for our district. The convention is in Sturbridge. 5 Point Opening

As the Lions year is winding down, I am looking for volunteers for the 5 point opening that we use to open the meetings. If interested please let me know, I would like to use 5 first year Lions for the Rookies night. The date for Rookies night will be May 22nd let me know if you would like to do the Pledge, song of America, Lions Toast, Invocation or Thought. Send me an email fozzie215@yahoo.com or 865-382-3888.

Leos Club carwash April 27^th

The OA Leos Club will be holding a carwash on April 27^th at the Center School the hours are 11 – 2. The money raised from this event will be donated to charity. If you have some spare time and a dirty car stop down and hlp the Leos out.

New Member Orientation – May 2^nd

The orientation is oriented for new members and is open to all.  Some old members (old in tenure and not necessarily in age…) have indicated a desire to attend a Lions Club Orientation session. New members are strongly encouraged to attend this session or the next one which will be held later in May or in June.

I am holding the next one on May 2nd (Thursday) at 7:00 pm at the The Residence At Five Corners, 678 Depot Street, North Easton (near Shaw’s supermarket).  This event should last no longer than an hour and a half.  If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Rob Goodrich so we can get a good head-count and plan accordingly.
