President’s Message – December 2018

Easton Lions Member Ram Penumarthy

Thank You To Festival Volunteers and Sponsors

Event Calendar

Greetings:

We (Easton Lions) enjoyed an excellent response from the Easton community this 32nd year of the Holiday Festival. As we prepared for this year’s festival and continued the legacy of success, we were excited to see Easton Town’s participation and response during the celebrations.

It was unfortunate that we had to cancel outdoor events on Sunday, 2 Dec 2018. We are deeply sorry for not having the Holiday Festival on second day due to inclement weather conditions. However, I would like to thank Anne Martin and Kelly Estey  at Zetsey Pet Services for planning the parades.

THANK YOU SO MUCH to all sponsorships from our very generous sponsors and local businesses. Easton Lions is very grateful to our faithful sponsors who continue to support this event every year – Mr. David Howe, North Easton Savings Bank, Towneship Restauraunt, The Farmer’s Daughter, Blueview Nurseries, Creative World Children’s Learning Centers, Shovel Town Brewery, Waste Management, and Roche Brothers of Easton.

What TEAM work! It made my day, to see the hard work and planning by Easton Lions to organize such a fabulous event, making it a reality and executed as planned. Every member contributed to the best of their abilities and SPECIAL kudos to all those new members who’ve been on the field from clean-up to pack-up.

There are several new ideas to enhance the festivities and we will work on those and try to bring the same to reality next year.

A BIG THANK YOU to:

  • Town of Easton – Dept of Public works, Firefighters, Police Officers, Selectman
  • all who came to visit and shop at Arts and Crafts Fair.
  • OAHS School Clubs and sports teams (Cross Counbtry, Dive and Swim, Football, Field Hockey, Hockey, Lacrosse for providing all the support and assistance
