If you see a clutch of Lions at the beach odds are they are … just at the beach. But a group of Easton Lions have begun actively planning for this year’s Holiday Festival and Main Street Stroll.
The 2020 Festival was cancelled, but the Club still put on a show at the Rockery. This year we are going big. The Festival will be a one day event, most likely held on December 4. We will be decorating the Rockery, selling food both inside and outside Oakes Ames Memorial Hall, sponsoring Mark Vinocoor’s incredibly popular Greatest Kids Show Ever, coordinating the outside events that the town enjoys, holding another scavenger hunt, and bringing Santa to town at the Great Parade.
Festival co-chairs Lynne Payne and Michelle McGee have been creating Lions event teams. This will be a great day for the community, and another great day for the Club. The Club wants your involvement, and needs your help!
Michelle will be sending out periodic updates. Please let her know if you are interested in helping out.
A general meeting will be scheduled in the next few weeks. Until then, see you at the beach. Santa hats are optional.
