LCI 100 Years Website

When I first joined the Lions Club a couple years ago, I joined because of the events and activities our club does in the town of Easton, like the Holiday Festival and the Thrift Store.  I knew that Lions collected eyeglasses, but really did not know much about the Lions.

One of the resources I used to learn more about Lions Clubs in general was the LCI website, www.lionsclubs.org. The LCI site has a wealth of information to explore and learn what clubs are doing around the world.  They have some great videos and information as well as a “Member’s Center” with resources for all levels of Lions and Leos.  They also have a section “Lions 100” dedicated to the 100th anniversary in 2018.

Our Club’s Facebook cover highlights the LCI 100th anniversary logos and medallions for areas of need our club, and all Lions, strive to achieve in our communities.  The anniversary tagline fits well with what we have been doing in Easton since 1931, “Where There’s a Need, There’s a Lion”!

To learn more about the Lions take a moment and visit the LCI website and the 100th anniversary page, http://lions100.lionsclubs.org. I find something enlightening every time I visit.
