The Easton Lions Club has partnered with the Easton Branch of the Old Colony YMCA to support the Pocket Change Walking Group.

Free and open to all, the Group helps people exercise and socialize together outdoors and safely. YMCA membership not required. All abilities welcome.

  • Walks leave from the YMCA parking lot, 25 Elm Street, North Easton
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00
  • 2 routes offered every session

Lion Gary Fradin leads a 5+/- mile hike each day. He typically includes either Town Forest or the Flyaway Pond Management Area in his routes.

The alternative route is 2 – 3 miles, generally on pavement.

Walkers are invited to contribute their pocket change toward the YMCA’s overhead though no amount is expected or required.

Additional information is available from Darcy Paiva, Executive Direction, Easton Branch YMCA, tel: 508-238-9758 x 201 or email dapaiva@oldcolonyymca.org.
