Thrift in the Time of COVID

The Easton Lions Club Thrift Store remains the largest continuous source of funding for the Club’s charitable donations, and is the Club’s largest project.  Like any project, it is only as successful as the people who keep it going.  This past weekend while all volunteers and patrons wore face masks and exercised social distancing the store was hopping.  Lions inside worked the building’s three floors, Lions outside negotiated a continuous stream of community donations and staffed the outside Bazaar, while other Lions did house pick-ups brought in truck-loads of large item donations.  The pride of Easton included Henry Narsasian, Jon Morgan, Ron Handverger, John Watt, Bob Grella, Mark Vinocoor, Ken Love, Mark Ingalls, Jim Baker, Dan Guerin, Andrew Parker, Sheri Anderson, Scot Kudcey, Judy Jackson, Ruth Calvagne, Rich Chmielinski, Fran Clifford, Lynn Kingsbury, Pattie Somers, Joyce Tardito, and Lee Williams.
