On Wednesday, April 12, 2017, the Easton Lions Club will host the 46th Recognition Night Banquet. The Lions moto is “We Serve” and we have been serving Easton for 85 years, since 1931. To that end, we would like to honor people in our community who’ve gone “above and beyond”. We are looking for folks who have provided outstanding service to others, dedication to citizenship, or are models of volunteerism in Easton.
The Lions need your help! We need you to identify these outstanding members in Easton. If you know of someone that has gone above and beyond in service or volunteerism in Easton, please send us a nomination form with information on this person. We need a pool of nominees in the following eight categories, or create your own if these do not seem to fit.
- Outstanding Service
- Outstanding Achievement
- Public Servant
- Senior Citizen
- Outstanding Youth
Tell us about why you think they should be recognized. Describe their achievements. What did they do or still do? How did they impact you, your family, or your neighborhood? Let us know why this person is special to you.
Nomination forms are available on this page, EastonLions.org/recognition or pickup locally at North Easton Savings Bank branches, Ames Free Library, YMCA, and other businesses around town. We will review all nominations by March 15th and award recipients will be notified by March 24th.
