I received a call Thursday from Sherm Caswell (president 1989-90) letting me know that Moses Mendez, who was president of the club during the years 1990-91 has passed away. Moses was president when the Lions Club took over the Holiday Festival from the Downtown Merchants. Moses was living in the Buffalo area and leaves his wife Barbara. He was suffering from Alzheimer’s at the time of his passing.
