Last month the Easton Lions Club Board of Directors approved a grant to South Shore Habitat for Humanity in support of a house being built in North Easton. The Board suggested augmenting its donation with an in-kind contribution of labor.
Club reaction was immediate. Enough Lions volunteers to fill two work days. And of course the first day was rained out. And while the second day was one of the coldest of the fall members Dan Guerin, Stan Borgeson, and Dottie Fulginiti worked the project, and spent the day putting up interior walls.
All three Lions said that they learned a lot, and had a great day.
Thank you to Dan, Dottie, and Stan for volunteering, and for representing the Easton Lions Club in such a positive, productive way.
