Easton Lions Club, Inc. and Lions Club of Easton Foundation, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Easton Lions Club) acknowledges the importance of privacy to its users. To that end, we have adopted the following policy with regard to the collection, use, and dissemination of personal information requested from visitors to this site. Personal information is information associated with a user’s name or personal identity. We are providing this policy below so that you may understand the terms and conditions associated with the provision of any personal information to us. Easton Lions Club webpages are intended for general audiences – we do not seek through our website to gather personal data from or about persons that are sixteen (16) years of age or younger. If you inform us or we otherwise become aware that we have unintentionally received personal data from an individual under the age of sixteen (16), we will delete this information from our records.
The Easton Lions Club recognizes the importance of protecting the private information of our web site visitors, donors, and Lion members (hereinafter referred to as Users). If you make a donation or make a purchase (e.g., tickets for events) via Easton Lions Club’s online forms using a credit card, these details are transferred to a secure, online payment service hosted and owned independent of the Easton Lions Club (e.g., PayPal, Eventbrite, Bidding for Good.) Information collected is protected by software during transmission, which encrypts all of your personal information so that it can be safeguarded over internet channels. We reveal only a limited part of your credit card number when confirming a donation, order or other transaction. We do not give out your credit card or other account information to third parties unless you authorize us to do so or if it is necessary to fulfill our responsibilities, including, but not limited to, acknowledging a donation by sending a recognition.
