Easton Lions named
Chartered Organization
for Scout Troop 193
As a chartered organization, the Easton Lions and Troop 193 have found our objectives and missions to serve the young people of Easton are compatible with those of the BSA. We mutually agree to use the Scouting program to further our mission for the betterment of our community.
We believe that our association with Troop 193 will strengthen the Easton Lions Club and Troop 193. The Lions have a long history of support for Scouting in Easton. Over the years, we’ve provided financial backing for many Eagle Scout projects, Scout camperships, and Lion members have volunteered as Adult leaders with our local Troops.
In addition Scouts have provided volunteer support and participated in service at many Lions projects, including the annual Holiday Festival at Oakes Ames Memorial Hall and the annual Charity Auction, now known as the Celebration of Easton. We believe that the nexus of opportunities to support each other will only grow.
